Low Tone

Ember

🌟When Ember first came to us, she was struggling with low tone, developmental delays, and chronic ear infections. At just 2 years old, she struggled to hold up her own head, couldn't sit unassisted, and was unable to crawl. Her parents had big goals for Ember, and we were so happy to be part of her journey.

πŸ” Ember's history was significant for high prenatal maternal stress, breastfeeding challenges, severe reflux, and arching and stiffness. Many people are confused when kids with low tone stiffen their bodies and arch their backs. You might think that because they are low tone, they would be loose and floppy. Typically, low tone doesn't come into the conversation until milestones start getting missed. Arching and stiffening are early signs of spinal cord stress and tension. The child is moving into these positions to try and lessen the tension on the spinal cord. You may see these kids toe walking later in development.

πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Under our care, Ember has thrived! She now attempts to take food by mouth, can hold her own head, sit independently, and has made strides toward crawling. Her body control has improved significantly, she drools less, and has had fewer ear infections.

πŸ’ͺ🏼 Ember's progress has been remarkable. Her parents are thrilled with her improvements, and we are constantly surprised by her new skills and abilities. She continues to amaze us with her determination and resilience.

🌟 Watching Ember's transformation has been an incredible experience. We look forward to supporting her continued progress and celebrating each new milestone. Her journey highlights the importance of addressing the root causes of neurological tension to help children thrive.
