Developmental & Milestone Delays
Collins
Collins came to us at 16 months old, facing significant motor, speech, and social delays. She wasn't yet walking or talking and had trouble socially engaging with other children. Her mom was deeply concerned that Collins was falling behind and was eager to help her catch up.
Collins had a history of high maternal stress during pregnancy, was born via C-section, and experienced trouble breastfeeding. As a baby, she dealt with reflux and back arching, and as she grew, she had frequent meltdowns due to frustration with her lack of mobility and communication.
🧠Collins' neurological scans revealed deep-rooted stress and tension that were holding her system back from entering growth and development mode. Understanding these challenges, we crafted a customized care plan to address her specific needs.
🌈Collins' mom committed to her care plan, and the results were nothing short of miraculous. Within a week of starting care, Collins took her first steps! Just three weeks into her care plan, she was walking unassisted.
Collins' social skills and engagement also improved dramatically. She began to interact more with other children, showing a level of social engagement her parents had never seen before. Her ability to communicate and express herself grew, reducing her frustration and meltdowns.
Collins is still in the middle of her care plan, and we are beyond excited to see how her nervous system continues to change and develop. Her parents couldn't be happier with her progress, and we're honored to be part of her journey.
Collins' story is a powerful example of how addressing the nervous system can lead to profound improvements in a child's development. By reducing neurological stress and allowing her system to enter growth mode, Collins has made tremendous strides in her motor, speech, and social skills.
Dante
When Dante first came to us, he was facing global delays, uncontrolled eye movements, and a lack of arm movements, which prevented him from crawling. His parents were deeply concerned and had already consulted various specialists and therapists without finding answers.
Dante's early life challenges included preterm labor, induction, cord wrap, difficulty breastfeeding, colic, and constipation. These early difficulties had taken a toll on his development. When we conducted Dante's neurological scans, we discovered significant stress, particularly in his neck. Understanding these underlying issues allowed us to create a customized care plan tailored to his needs.
Dante's first adjustment was one of the most memorable moments in our office. His eyes, which were constantly moving from side to side, suddenly locked with Dr. Angela's for about 10 seconds after a neck adjustment. This was the first sign of progress and a glimpse of the improvements to come.
Over time, Dante began using his arms to reach for and interact with toys. He progressed to planking and doing push-ups, and soon after, he started crawling. Dante's journey continued with him standing unassisted and now taking steps! His eyes have become much steadier, allowing him to focus better.
It's been a long journey for Dante, and we couldn't be prouder of his progress. His parents are thrilled with the remarkable changes they've seen, and we're honored to be part of his journey.
Dante's story is a powerful testament to the impact of addressing neurological stress. By focusing on the root causes, we've helped Dante unlock his inborn healing potential and achieve milestones that once seemed out of reach.
